We are delighted that this year we welcome a new local company to demonstrate at the Carnival, Middleton Cheney Dog Training Academy & Liz Ormerod Dog Training.

They have lots to show us this year including

  • Fun Dog Show
  • Scent Work Demonstration 1.30pm
  • Have-a-go Scentwork class
  • Bronze Good Citizen Award Test
  • As well as lots of advice and help for your dog training

Fun Dog Show – 2pm
The classes are:

  1. Prettiest Bitch
  2. Most Handsome Dog
  3. Best Rescue
  4. Golden Oldie (8yrs and over)
  5. Best Crossbreed
  6. Most Appealing Eyes
  7. Young Handler (14yrs and under)
  8. ‘My dog’s got talent’ – Best trick / skill

They will be holding the Bronze Good Citizen Award Tests for people to take part in. more information about what is involved in taking the test will follow in later updates. This is a recognised qualification with The Kennel Club and will be tested by qualified Examiners.Eligibility is a poo bag, microchip and ID tag on the dog that complies with the law.(No Chip, no Bag, No tag, No Test!!)

There will be a Scentwork Demonstration – showing people how a dog uses their nose in detecting a specific scent in different situations including a ‘Have-a-go Scentwork’ session for the public to take part in.
